Soda Fired Pottery
This work has been fired in a kiln heated by natural gas or propane where sodium has been introduced either in the form of salt or soda ash. The sodium moves through the kiln and reacts with the clay and glaze to create unique effects on the outside of the pottery. To learn more, visit my methodologies page.
